Miklós Hadas, DSc is professor of sociology and co-director of the Centre for Gender and Culture at Corvinus University of Budapest; member of the sociological committee of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. From 1990-2002 he was the founding editor-in-chief of Replika, a leading Hungarian journal of social sciences. Actually, he is member of the advisory bouard of NORMA (International Journal for Masculinity Studies).

Beáta Nagy works at the Corvinus University of Budapest, Institute of Sociology and Social Policy. Her main research field is gender and work. She is the co-director of the Gender and Cultural Centre, and carried out investigations on companies’ equal opportunity policies, the gender awareness of local governments and multinational companies, and gender budgeting. Her recent book deals with the lack of female students in IT and technology. She is the head of the research group investigating the Dilemmas and strategies in reconciling family and work.

He was graduated as a sociologist at Eötvös Loránd University of Sciences and at University of Maastricht. His PhD thesis was about public participation and he obtained his PhD in 2009 also at Eötvös Loránd University of Sciences. In recent years he was involved in several participatory project either as organiser or as facilitator. At the moment he is a research fellow at Budapest Business School, and a senior lecturer at Corvinus University of Budapest. He is a senior researcher in the Dilemmas and strategies in reconciling family and work project (2013-2017).

Ildikó Dén-Nagy is an economist and sociologist and PhD candidate at Corvinus University of Budapest. Her research interests are in the areas of Science and Technology Studies with special focus on the social aspects of information and communication technologies.

Zsuzsanna Gering is a research fellow at Budapest Business School; meanwhile she is doctoral candidate at Corvinus University of Budapest (Institute of Sociology and Social Policy). Her main research field is corporate social responsibility (CSR) and CSR discourse. For 7 years she has worked as a consultant specialising in corporate social responsibility. She received her Master’s in Sociology and Economic Policy in 2002. The topic of her PhD dissertation is about the discursive strategies that Hungarian companies use to define and justify their social role and responsibility.

Geszler Nikolett is a PhD student at the Institute of Sociology and Social policy in Corvinus University of Budapest. Her main research interests are masculinity studies, primarily the work-life balance of manager men. In her previous works she made research on CSR topics and wrote about the income and social influence of economic leaders. Currently she is participating in the OTKA research called Dilemmas and strategies in reconciling family and work, lead by Beáta Nagy.

Marta Rado is a PhD student at the Institute of Sociology and Social Policy. Her research focuses on the demographic events effects on subjective well-being.

Veronika Paksi is a sociologist, works as an Assistant Research Fellow at the Institute of Sociology of the Centre for Social Sciences of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. She is a PhD student at the Corvinus University of Budapest; the Secretary General of the Hungarian Sociological Association and an editor of the Culture and Community domestic periodical. Her current research focuses on the work-life balance of higher educated women; career models and career advancement in Research and Development; decisions and inequality in relation to assisted reproductive technologies.
